I'm Back.....

After a long break from "blogging", I'm back. Not that anyone has missed me or anything. I left Miami about 3 weeks ago and started driving North. I packed my pick-up truck with clothes, ipod, computer, camera, surf board, books and my beloved English Bulldog, Maggie (see above).
We will be spending our summer in Revere, MA., Sea Bright, NJ, NYC, Long Beach Island, NJ, Portland, Maine and unfortunately the Hamptons :(
I have a lot ahead of me this summer and intend to make some personal progress. I'm in the process of launching August 78, where we will be manufacturing and distributing our own line of surfboards and stand up paddle boards.
I'm also contemplating purchasing and living on a Lagoon 500 I would be living and working from the boat (which will be docked in Miami & Key West) for the better part of the year. Traveling to NYC, NJ and MA. during the summer and hopefully spend the month of January sailing the Caribbean from FL to Bahamas to Turks & Caicos to the DR to the Virgin Islands back up to FL.
We'll see how this plan works out. I should have a definite answer and plan of attack by December. I'm really hoping to be able to achieve this lifestyle for at least the next 2-3 years. Then settling back into the "Normal" groove.
